To pass the ball to a teammate to put them into a gap or to give time for a teammate to run onto the ball.
KEY FACTORS:
- Hand position on ball.
- Listen for call/timing.
- Passes in one movement.
- Accuracy – chest height in front.
- Take speed off the ball.
COMMON ERRORS:
- Not being aware of possible options.
- Not enough elevation on the ball.
- Ball falls to ground; not enough ‘air'.
