INJURY RISK IN NEW ZEALAND RUGBY UNION; A NATIONWIDE STUDY OF INJURY INSURANCE CLAIMS FROM 2005 TO 2017
New Zealand Rugby’s (NZR) and ACC’s latest research has pinpointed the most common types of injury for each age range.
A world-first, this research provides an in-depth snapshot of New Zealand’s rugby playing population. NZR and ACC combined the national database of registered players with ACC’s injury statistics over a 12-year period to highlight the most common injuries for rugby players according to their age and gender.
